The Story Behind the Network

My name is Marcell Stori and I have been obsessed with true crime my entire life.

Growing up I watched every true crime show I could find — Dateline, 48 Hours, Forensic Files, The First 48, Snapped. I was not just entertained by them. I was studying them. I was fascinated by the puzzle of it all — how investigators piece together evidence, how a case unfolds, how the truth eventually surfaces. That fascination never left me.

In college I started writing crime short stories. I was not studying journalism or film. I just had a passion for storytelling and I knew early on that I had a gift for it. Painting pictures with words is an art form and it is one I have dedicated myself to mastering.

One day I was watching true crime content on YouTube and something clicked. I thought — I wonder how they get these files. I wonder if I could do my own version of these stories. That one question changed everything.

Building From Scratch — Alone

Nobody showed me how to do this. There was no blueprint, no mentor, no guide. I spent months researching the Georgia Open Records Act, learning how to submit requests, understanding what I could and could not obtain. I failed. I tried again. I failed again. I kept going.

After a long process of trial and error I obtained my first case file. Atlanta Crime Files was born.

Six months in I wanted more. I wanted to tell bigger stories — murder cases, full investigations, cases that demanded serious attention. So I went back to researching. I learned how to obtain homicide files, interrogation footage, full case documentation. Georgia Crime Files was born.

Both channels. One person. No team. No budget. Just passion, research, and an obsession with telling stories the right way.

ACF and GCF are a one man operation. I write, research, edit, produce, and publish everything myself. Every case you have watched, every intro you laughed at, every investigation you followed from start to finish — that was me, alone, putting in the work because I believe in what I am building.

Atlanta Crime Files — Raw. Edgy. Unapologetic.

Atlanta Crime Files is not like anything else in the true crime space and that is by design.

ACF covers police bodycam footage primarily from the Metro Atlanta area and throughout Georgia. But what makes ACF different is not the footage — it is the storytelling. Before every bodycam video I write a raw, edgy, unapologetically humorous intro that sets up the footage in a way that connects to the culture, the street, the reality of where these situations happen. The stories I tell in those intros are drawn from my own experiences, my own life, the world I grew up in.

Some people say it is harsh. I say it is honest. There is always an underlying message in everything I write. The humor is a vehicle. The story is the destination. My subscribers get it. They ride with it because it is real and they can feel that.

I believe everybody has a story. Everything has a story. There is a story in every single aspect of life. ACF is built on that belief.

Georgia Crime Files — Facts Only. No Narrative. No Spin.

Georgia Crime Files is the serious side of the network.

GCF covers murder cases, interrogation footage, full criminal investigations — the kind of cases that are heartbreaking, disturbing, and impossible to look away from because they are real and they happened right here in Georgia. We cover these stories because the public deserves to know what happened in their own backyard.

On GCF we deal in facts only. We do not push a narrative. We do not editorialize beyond what the evidence supports. We remain unbiased because our job is not to tell you what to think — it is to show you exactly what happened and let you decide for yourself.

What makes GCF unique is how we cover cases. We recreate the full timeline of every investigation and walk you through it in real time exactly as it unfolded. That is why our cases are long. That is why they are broken into parts. We show you everything — the discovery, the investigation, the interrogations, the evidence, the outcome. Nothing is skipped. Nothing is summarized away.

I never built GCF worrying about retention metrics or watch time algorithms. I built it to tell the full story. That commitment is what grew the channel.

Why Georgia

Because this is home.

I grew up in Georgia. I know this state — the counties, the cities, the small towns, the culture. I wanted to build something from a place I actually know and love. Georgia has no shortage of stories worth telling. The big city cases from Atlanta hit different when you know the neighborhoods. But the small town cases — those have a feeling to them that is hard to describe. There is a weight to a small town case. Everybody knew somebody. That is the kind of story that stays with you.

Georgia is where I am from and Georgia is what we cover. That will never change.

Inspired By the Best

Every creator has someone who inspired them. For me that person is Just Thought Lounge. The way he tells stories using crime scene photos — the detail, the pacing, the visual storytelling — showed me what was possible in this space. He is one of the people who made me believe I could do this at a high level.

I took that inspiration and built something of my own with it. Something that sounds like me, feels like me, and comes from where I am from.

Where This Is Going

I cannot tell you exactly where this ends up. What I can tell you is that it has already taken me further than I ever imagined. Doors have opened that I never thought were possible when I was sitting alone trying to figure out how to file my first records request.

The vision is bigger than two YouTube channels. The end goal is a full crime network — a real team of people who share this passion, who see this vision, who want to investigate and tell Georgia stories at the highest level possible. Researchers, writers, producers, investigators. People who love the craft as much as I do.

We are not there yet. But we are building toward it every single day.

Real Footage. Real Records. Real Stories.

Body Cam On Network is not a media company that stumbled into true crime. It is a passion project built from scratch by one person who refused to wait for permission to tell these stories.

If you watch ACF for the raw unfiltered storytelling — welcome. If you watch GCF for the deep dives and full case investigations — welcome. If you believe the public deserves access to the truth about what happens in their communities — you are exactly who we built this for.

Real Cases. Real Stories. Real Impact.
